Slave
Skill: Choose two; Craft, or Profession. You gain a rank in your chosen skills. Every level after first you gain another rank.
Special: Whenever you fail a skill check, you take a –2 penalty on any skill check or attack roll you attempt before the end of your next turn unless it is a part of retrying the failed skill check.
Background Trait: You are a slave, your starting wealth is 1/4th the normal wealth for your class.
Tribesman
Skill: Choose one; Craft, Handle Animal, Profession, or Survival. You gain a +1 Trait bonus on your chosen skill. Every five levels this bonus increases by +1 to a maximum of +5 (at 20th-level).
Commoner
Skill: Choose one; Craft, Handle Animal, Knowledge Local (region), or Profession. You gain a +1 Trait bonus on your chosen skill. Every five levels this bonus increases by +1 to a maximum of +5 (at 20th-level).
Gentry
Skill: Choose one; Diplomacy, Intimidate, or Sense Motive. You gain a +1 Trait bonus on your chosen skill. Every five levels this bonus increases by +1 to a maximum of +5 (at 20th-level).
Background Trait: You are wealthy. Gain 250 gp. You must spend at least 100 during character creation. In addition, you may speak one additional language fluently and gain a +1 competence bonus on Knowledge (Nobility) skill checks. At levels past 1st the extra starting gold is changed to 5% of your base starting gold, or 250gp whichever is higher.
Bastard
Skill: Choose one; Bluff, Diplomacy, or Sense Motive. You gain a +1 Trait bonus on your chosen skill. Every five levels this bonus increases by +1 to a maximum of +5 (at 20th-level).
Background Trait: You are fairly wealthy. Gain 350 gp. You must spend at least 150 during character creation. In addition, you may speak one additional language fluently and gain a +1 Trait bonus on Knowledge (Nobility) skill checks. At levels past 1st the extra starting gold is changed to 7% of your base starting gold, or 350gp whichever is higher.
Noble
Skill: Choose one; Diplomacy, Intimidate, or Sense Motive. You gain a +1 Trait bonus on your chosen skill. Every five levels this bonus increases by +1 to a maximum of +5 (at 20th-level).
Background Trait: You are very wealthy. Gain 500 gp. You must spend at least 250 during character creation. In addition, you may speak one additional language fluently and gain a +1 Trait bonus on Knowledge (Nobility) skill checks. Your Leadership level is 1 higher than normal. At levels past 1st the extra starting gold is changed to 10% of your base starting gold, or 500gp whichever is higher.
Royal
Skill: Choose one; Diplomacy, Intimidate, or Sense Motive. You gain a +1 Trait bonus on your chosen skill as well as a +1 Trait bonus on Command. Every five levels this bonus increases by +1 to a maximum of +5 (at 20th-level).
Background Trait: You are very wealthy. Gain 900 gp. You must spend at least 300 during character creation. In addition, you may speak one additional language fluently and gain a +1 Trait bonus on Knowledge (Nobility) skill checks. Your Leadership level is 2 higher than normal. At levels past 1st the extra starting gold is changed to 15% of your base starting gold, or 900gp whichever is higher.
